I.T. Manager

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology an opening for an Information Technology Manager based at our Business Office in Edina. This position has overall responsibility for the Company’s IT Department, employees and infrastructure. Some flexibility to travel to different locations in the Twin Cities, Brainerd and Western Wisconsin is necessary to support the clinic locations. Responsible for all IT systems, budgets and project plans. Serves as a Security Officer for HIPAA compliance regarding personal health information. Proactively manages and professionally communicates with IT team members, clinic and business office employees, physicians and all levels of employees.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or closely related field strongly preferred; 7+ years of IT experience with progressing levels of responsibilities and decision making; previous leadership, budget management and personnel management required; healthcare industry experience preferred; excellent customer service and professional communication skills are key.

Dosimetrist

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has as opening for a Dosimetrist to cover our Twin Cities Metro area clinics.

Board Certified or Board Eligible required. Two years experience preferred. Experience with Monaco or Eclipse Treatment Planning Systems preferred.

Medical Secretary – .5 FTE (20 hours/week)

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for a Medical Secretary in our Ridgeview Radiation Therapy Department in Waconia. This is a .5 FTE position working approximately 20 hours per week, Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. The ability to flex up to work 5 days per week will be necessary to cover vacation time occasionally.

Duties include answering phones, greeting and registering patients, appointment scheduling and patient chart prep. Strong computer and communication skills required; previous hospital/clinic or front desk experience required.

Medical Secretary / Transcriptionist – .8 FTE (32 hours/week)

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for a Medical Secretary / Transcriptionist in our busy Brainerd Radiation Therapy Department located at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. This is a .8 FTE position working approximately 32 hours per week, 4 days per week, daytime hours between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm. The ability to flex up to work 5 days per week will be necessary to cover vacation time occasionally.

Duties include patient chart prep, answering phones, greeting and registering patients, appointment scheduling and editing dictation. Strong computer and communication skills required; previous transcriptionist and hospital/clinic experience required. Experience with Dragon dictation software preferred.
