Radiation Therapist – Part-Time (Casual)

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for a part-time / casual Radiation Therapist to help provide coverage for our 8 Twin Cities Radiation Therapy Centers. This is a great way to get your foot in the door with a great company and work into a benefit-eligible position. Hours will vary, but can work up to full-time hours some weeks.

ARRT certification or board-eligible required.


Medical Secretary (.5 FTE )

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for a .5+ Medical Secretary at our Radiation Therapy Center of Western Wisconsin in New Richmond, Wisconsin. This position will work 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, every other week.

Duties include greeting and registering patients, scheduling new patient consultations and follow-up appointments, preparing patient charts, requesting medical records, supporting Physician and Nurse with administrative duties and answering multiple phone lines.

Previous hospital or clinic administrative experience is required. Preferably 2+ years of related work experience. Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, computer and communication skills required. EMR software and/or medical records experience is strongly preferred.


Medical Coder

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has a new opening for a full-time Medical Coder based at our Business Office in Edina. Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Once fully trained, this position will visit our Radiation Therapy Clinics in the Twin Cities Metro to build relationships with clinic personnel, review charts and transport paperwork.

Duties include reviewing patient charts to extract accurate codes for the medical billing process, reporting incomplete documentation and investigates issues. Previous medical coding experience is preferred, or a minimum of 3 years medical billing experience. Solid knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes. Ability to become a Certified Radiation Oncology Coder.

Medical Physicist

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for a full-time Medical Physicist. This Physicist will work full-time, daytime hours at our Twin Cities Metro Radiation Therapy Centers. This is a new position we are adding to our physics team.

Prior experience in clinical medical physics required, including at least one year experience with Varian and/or Elekta Linear Accelerators; Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy and Stereotactic Radiosurgery; Record and Verify Systems (Aria or Mosaiq)
