Medical Physicist – Full Time/Float – Radiation Oncology
Minneapolis Radiation Oncology (MRO) is currently seeking a Medical Physicist to work at our Twin City Metro area and Western Wisconsin clinics. Must be willing to travel to multiple clinic locations for coverage as needed. Must be board eligible or board certified in Therapeutic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology. Must have a Master’s degree in Medical Physics, Radiological Sciences, or a closely related field. Prior experience in Clinical Medical Physics is also required, which must include: (A) at least 4 years of experience with Varian Linear Accelerators, and (B) at least 4 years of experience with Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and (C) at least 1 year of experience in all aspects of High Dose Rate Brachytherapy, and (D) at least 4 years of experience with Record and Verify Systems (Aria or Mosaiq), and all experience requirements in (A) and (B) and (C) and (D) can be gained concurrently in the same 4-year period.
MRO has a physics group comprised of 13 physicists and 13 dosimetrists who provide radiation oncology physics services to 9 free standing centers and 1 hospital department in the greater Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area, northern MN and western WI.
