For me the biggest reward is spending time with patients, getting to know them on a personal level, their goals, aspirations, life story. It is also important to me to be an educational resource, helping patients understand their illness and what we can accomplish as a team obtaining the best possible outcome for them.
Dr. Nelson L. Adamson is a Board-Certified radiation oncologist. He received his medical degree from Harvard University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has been in practice for more than 30 years, including private practice, clinics, and community hospitals. In addition, Dr. Adamson served with the Health Unit for the American Embassy in Mogadishu, He also enjoys his free time traveling, reading and biking.
