I.T. EMR Support Specialist

Job Description

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for an EMR Support Specialist position at our Business Office in Edina. This is a full-time position in our I.T. Department to provide onsite and/or remote technical support to end users of various Electronic Medical Records system within our 10 clinics across the Twin Cities and the Business Office in Edina. Some flexibility in hours may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Technical support resource for EMR software in a healthcare environment
• Helps resolve Help Desk calls related to EMR systems
• Develops end user documentation, service ticket requests and training materials
• Deploys upgrades and security updates to computer hardware
• Provides additional support to other I.T. Department team members

Qualifications

• Work experience supporting EMR software in a healthcare environment with preference given to supporting Varian and/or Elekta Aria or Mosaiq Radiation Oncology EMR systems
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications, Windows 10 & 11 platforms, MS SQL is a plus
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to speak with technical records, medical professionals and/or business office co-workers
• Ability to reliably multi-task, pay attention to details, follow through and problem solve are required
