Mr. Philip Silgen is a staff medical physicist with Minneapolis Radiation Oncology, P.A. His primary responsibilities are for the Brainerd Radiation Therapy Center, Brainerd, MN. Mr. Silgen earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physics and Mathematics from Saint Mary’s University, Winona, MN. He completed graduate coursework in Physics at Minnesota State University, Mankato, MN. He was honored with a US Department of Energy Applied Health Physics Fellowship to attend the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Medical Health Physics. Mr. Silgen has had employment as a medical physicist with Methodist Hospital/HealthSystem Minnesota, St. Louis Park, MN and completed a medical physics internship with Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He has been with MRO since 1998. |
