Lisa Siskind is a staff physicist with Minneapolis Radiation Oncology, P.A. Dr. Siskind conducted her Ph.D. research at the Center for Interdisciplinary Applications for Magnetic Resonance (CIAMR) at the University of Minnesota. Her thesis, "Implementing a Type II Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Quantum Computer", was completed August 2005. Dr. Siskind has been working in Medical Physics since 1992. Previous research experience in the field include studies of the effectiveness of automatic classification of mammogram images verses radiologist readings, heart volume doses verses complication rates from Hodgkin's radiation treatment and lung exposure from different total body irradiation protocols. Lisa is board certification and is a member of the American Association of Physicists in medicine (AAPM). |
